Cabinet Door Refacing

Do you want to update your kitchen without the high cost and inconvenience of a kitchen remodel? Cabinet door refacing is an excellent way to achieve the new look you desire without the undertaking of installing new cabinets. With CPOS Refacing, cabinet modifications or additional cabinetry can be added as desired while giving your cabinets the facelift they need.

Changing the profile and color of cabinet doors is often a primary goal of a kitchen remodel. Cabinets in good structural condition are frequently demolished and replaced simply because the homeowner doesn’t like their dated appearance. This is equivalent to abandoning a perfectly good car because you didn’t like the color anymore. Many homeowners don’t realize that they can dramatically change the appearance of their kitchen by utilizing a process known as cabinet door refacing.

Why Choose CPOS to Reface Your Cabinet Doors

At CPOS, we reface with custom-made solid wood doors and drawer fronts made in Lancaster, PA. Most of our competitors use laminate (plastic) or thermofoil products that are prone to peeling and discoloration. We also use crown and light rail moldings, as well as wood veneer, for decorative moldings that give you the aesthetic you want. New soft close drawer boxes and soft close hinges come included with every cabinet door refacing we do, while new knobs and pulls are chosen to complete the look. As a locally owned and operated business, we place a premium on providing a high-quality finished product at a reasonable price.

Save Time and Money With Cabinet Refacing

Save Time and Money Over Kitchen Remodeling

Most cabinet door refacing installations are completed within 3-5 days, allowing you to enjoy your new kitchen faster with minimal disruption. Since we’re not replacing the cabinets there’s a lot less mess!

When compared to new cabinetry, cabinet door refacing can save you up to 60%. Redesigning and rebuilding your kitchen layout is not an easy task and the number of materials, services, and time required frequently result in a much higher than expected final cost. Cabinet refacing services provide nearly all of the benefits of new kitchen cabinets but at a much lower cost.

What Comes with Cabinet Door Refacing?

Solid Wood Doors
  • Solid Wood Door & Drawer Fronts
The doors and drawer fronts, which are the most visible part of your cabinets and provide the overall aesthetic, are replaced. To complete the transformation, the cabinet boxes are covered with wood veneer and factory-finished plywood.
Dovetail Drawers
  • Soft Close Door Hinges & Dovetail Drawers
We replace your old hinges with new soft close concealed Blumotion door hinges and install new full extension under-mount Blumotion drawer slides and 5/8″ thick maple dovetail drawer boxes in addition to replacing your cabinet doors and drawer fronts.
Decorative Molding
  • Decorative Molding
On the wall cabinets, we include decorative upper (crown) and lower (light rail) molding. Corner trim is used to conceal the visible edges of traditional cabinet refacing.
Painted Inner Lips
  • Painting Inner Lips & New Decorative Hardware
To give it a true “like new” appearance, we even fill in any old hinge holes and paint the inner lips of the cabinets. To finish the transformation, new decorative hardware of your choice is installed.
